Salthouse, Norfolk

8

Wow! This fantastic front-line detached luxury coastal property has stunning uninterrupted views across the marsh to the sea. Located in Salthouse, one of the most popular villages in North Norfolk, this high-end contemporary and stylish property with upside-down living, will make you fall in love with North Norfolk. Located within easy reach of the hugely popular The Dun Cow gastro-pub, Cookies Crab Shop, the village shop and beach.

Perfect for couples, groups of friends or families, Anchorage is beautifully-designed to showcase the big skies that Norfolk is famous for. Relax in the large, social open-plan living/dining/kitchen area on the first floor, and gaze through the large full-height arched feature window that draws the outside in. Traverse up to the mezzanine area to chill out on large inviting sofas while watching a plethora of Norfolk wildlife enjoying the marsh. Downstairs you will find four luxurious bedrooms. Two of these contemporary stylish rooms feature super-king size beds. The master bedroom boasts a beautiful balcony overlooking the sea. Continue to two further king-size bedrooms, three bath/shower rooms, a restful snug, plus a well-equipped utility room with tea/coffee-making facilities meaning there is no need to climb the stairs to make a cup of tea early in the morning. Outside there is a large fully-enclosed south-facing garden mainly laid to lawn. Anchorage offers off-road parking for three cars to the front.

Situated on the coastal road, opposite the track which leads you to the beach, staying at Anchorage means you couldn’t be closer to the marsh and sea if you tried! Salthouse is full to the brim with pretty flint and chalk cottages set down little lokes and lanes, and also boasts a beautiful church. The attractive villages of Cley-next-the-Sea with iconic windmill, and Blakeney with quirky fisherman's cottages and harbour, are only a short walk or car journey away. Explore Blakeney Point, taking a boat to see the colony of seals. Dine out at Morston Hall, Wiveton Café, the Wiveton Bell or, indeed, the Hanser, or The George at neighbouring Cley. Head to Holt where there are numerous restaurants, hotels, cafe's and delis plus plenty of shopping opportunities. Do take time to get closer to nature by visiting the Norfolk Wildlife Trust (almost next door to the property) and spend time learning more about the amazing birds and wildlife that make this rich coastline their home.
