Mid-terrace Bay Tree Cottage is set within the beautiful, peaceful grounds of a Grade II listed former Georgian vicarage, only a short walk from the picturesque and historic village of Little Walsingham and its independent amenities. Stylish and spacious, the property provides a wonderful base for holidaying in North Norfolk and exploring all the area has to offer, year round.
Bay Tree Cottage has a well-equipped kitchen/ diner, ideal for guests who enjoy cooking while away on holiday. There is a large, sunny sitting room with a living flame fire, Smart television and french doors opening out into the private rear garden. Upstairs there are three bedrooms - a king-size, double and twin 3ft beds - with two bathrooms (one of which is an en-suite shower, the other a large family bathroom with twin wash basins, a bath and separate walk-in shower) making this a perfect place for a family to stay during school holidays or two couples throughout the year. Outside there is a lovely raised sun terrace, from which you can enjoy open views of the grazing pastures beyond. Due to the property’s rural nature, the area is unaffected by light and industrial pollution, leaving intense dark skies for star gazing during the summer nights. Set within a small exclusive development with two designated off-street parking spaces, this idyllic property has access to two acres of communal woodlands and grounds, ideal to exercise the hound, or tire the children!
Bay Tree Cottage is a few minutes on foot to the pretty village of Little Walsingham which has a great foody pub, the Black Lion, cafes and a renowned local farm shop. Just ten minutes in the car, or a short journey on the light railway, is the wonderful coastal town of Wells-next-the Sea, where you can enjoy some crabbing off the quayside, discover the stunning sandy beach with its colourful beach huts and sample East Anglia’s top fish and chip shops.
