Thornham, Norfolk

This beautiful example of traditional brick-and-flint construction sleeps up to 6 guests, offering wonderful cottage accommodation in peaceful surroundings. It's situated off the main road, at the end of a short terrace of similar cottages, so the location is as charming as the property itself.

There is a lovely garden to the front of the cottage, separated from the front door by the parking area and an enclosed courtyard area at the rear of the property with an outside wet room, ideal for hosing down the dog (or the children!) when you get back from the beach. 

The cottage is a perfect base for a holiday in North West Norfolk.

Thornham is an old smuggling village right on the North Norfolk Coast. 

Wide expanses of salt marsh separate the village from the sea and it is a paradise for walkers and bird watchers.

There are several great places to eat including Thornham Deli, selling all manner of local produce and great coffee, breakfasts and lunches, The Lifeboat Inn, an old smuggling haunt complete with heavy beams and roaring fires, The Orange Tree, a gastropub, and The Chequers selling pizza and pasta. As well as these, there's Drove Orchards, where you can pick your own fruit, or you can purchase local produce from the Farm Shop or dine in at Eric's Fish and Chips in the acclaimed Yurt. 

Ground Floor:

Sitting room With an open fire, a large flat screen LCD television and DVD player. Dining kitchen Bright and cheerful room with dining table and seating for six one side and the kitchen area to the other. The kitchen comprises, electric freestanding oven with grill and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, kettle & fridge /freezer. There is a door out onto the rear courtyard and outside wet room. First Floor: Master bedroom A large room with a double bed and a wooden cot fully assembled in this room and two windows overlooking the front of the property. Bathroom A modern white suite comprising bath with electric shower over, WC and wash basin. Double bedroom with bunks With a double bed and a set of full size bunks. Outside: There is a sweet garden to the front of the property, separated from the front door by the parking area. To the rear of the cottage is a small private courtyard with a recently converted outdoor wet room with shower, WC & wash hand basin – ideal for hosing down dogs and children when they get back from the beach. There is a good sized garden table and chairs and charcoal barbecue in the rear courtyard. On-site parking.
