Situated just a 10-minute drive from the bustling port town of Wells-next-the-Sea, Poppy Cottage is a superb place to stay for anyone keen to explore North Norfolk's striking coastline. The garden is beautifully planted with perennials and is fully enclosed. 

Great Walsingham, in true 'Normal for Norfolk' style, is actually smaller than Little Walsingham, its more famous neighbour. The two villages are bisected by the River Stiffkey and brave visitors can drive through the picturesque ford which is also a lovely place to walk from. More peaceful than Little Walsingham, it has a beautiful medieval church which retains much of its original art and carvings. There is a craft barn and local cafe serving very delicious lunches and light snacks.

The popular coastal resort of Wells-next-the-Sea with its bustling quay, independent shops, cafes, restaurants and stunning beach is definitely worth a visit, and you can head further afield to enjoy everything else Norfolk has to offer.

Side tables and lamps, TV with DVD and Freeview. Kitchen with electric cooker, fridge and microwave. Table with four chairs. Sun Room Useful room for drying dogs and children and storing boots and coats. Doors to rear garden. Steep Stairs to first floor: Bedroom 1 Pretty room with double bed, bedside tables and lamps. Fitted wardrobe and chest of drawers. Bedroom 2 Delightful room with two full sized twin beds, bedside table and lamp. Hooks to back of door for hanging clothes. Bathroom Electric shower, WC and basin. Outside Parking for the cottage is on the village green a few seconds walk from the cottage. The house is situated in a really peaceful area with not much passing traffic. The garden is traditionally planted with grass amd perenials and is paved and fully enclosed. There is also garden furniture, making it delightful in the summer months.
