Docking is a lovely village just a short drive from the North Norfolk coast. With a village shop and pub in walking distance, plus great pub/restaurants just a short drive away you're in a great location to explore some of the best foodie haunts and beaches on this stretch of beautiful coast.
You'll discover one of the best farmer's markets in the area at Creake Abbey in North Creake on the first Saturday of the month, or if you're not up that weekend, then visit Drove Orchards Farm Shop in Thornham or Thornham Deli, the latter of which stocks a fabulous array of local produce.
For a bit of culture don’t forget to visit the nearby stately homes of Holkham Hall and Sandringham, HM The Queen’s country pad. Head to the RSPB reserves at Titchwell or Snettisham to appreciate the wonderful birdlife that frequent these shores; or take a boat trip to see the seals at Blakeney point from Morston a little further afield.
The long sandy beaches at Brancaster and the popular harbour of Brancaster Staithe, great for kayaking and sailing, are only a short drive away.
