Hillview Lodge is situated in Brancaster Staithe, a welcoming village on the North Norfolk coast, and makes for comfortable and inviting holiday accommodation with tranquil surroundings. The cottage has been refurbished to a high standard and offers relaxing and stylish interiors and is suitable for both family and friends. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, one on each level, although one of the rooms is in the attic so has restricted access, hence we would recommend the property capacity of four is not exceeded. There is a fully enclosed courtyard terrace, ideal for families with young children and/or a dog.
The renowned White Horse pub and restaurant with its fabulous balcony and views over the marsh, is literally a stone's throw away and there are nearby shops and a cafe at the popular shopping area in Burnham Deepdale, where you'll also find the tourist information centre. Again, within walking distance, is the Jolly Sailor's pub/restaurant which is one of the best child-friendly pubs along the coast and serves delicious pizza's and food all day.
Brancaster beach is walkable from the property along the coast path and boardwalk, although it will take you around forty five minutes, however the walk is beautiful and well worth it. Otherwise hop in the car and you'll be on Brancaster beach in less than 10 minutes. A perfect location for exploring the whole of the coast!
Brancaster Staithe, just a couple of minutes drive from Brancaster, bustles with sailors. Home to Brancaster Staithe Sailing Club, the harbour is a busy place.
Fresh seafood and coffee can be had from the shed on the quay (in high season)or you can go up to The Jolly Sailors where children, muddy dogs and boots are welcomed.
For more formal dining The White Horse provides a spectacular view of the marshes where you can enjoy the local seafood whilst watching the tide come in over the creeks. The Fish Shed gives you the opportunity to take home some great local produce.
