George House

Docking, Norfolk

4

A superb contemporary town house set over three floors, forming part of the prestigious Four Miles development on the edge of the popular village of Docking. Sitting just off the road to the coastal village of Brancaster, a mere five minute drive away, George House offers couples or a small family a smart inland bolthole with easy access to the coast and all the attractions in this part of North West Norfolk.

Built in 2020, George House is an attractive property of traditional brick and flint construction, beautifully presented with top quality fixtures and fittings throughout and complemented by relaxed modern styling from top to bottom. On the ground floor, two bedrooms, a super-king and a king, enjoy ultra-comfortable mattresses and the benefit of their own private facilities with a bathroom each, one of which is en suite. Upstairs on the first floor, the fabulous open-plan living space, with a Juliet balcony overlooking the garden, comfortably blends cooking, dining and relaxing. The high-specification kitchen is well-equipped and provides everything an enthusiastic cook could possibly need. Guests have the choice of snacking at the breakfast bar or dining more formally at a dining table. Later, retire to the large L-shaped corner sofa and chat the night away or watch a favourite channel on the widescreen Smart television. A utility room and adjoining cloakroom complete this level. From here a further staircase leads up to the mezzanine level, featuring a desk and chair, should anyone in the party need to study or work during their Norfolk holiday. Outside, to the side of the house, is a private south facing garden that offers a lovely al fresco dining option on a warm, sunny day.

George House is situated in the North West Norfolk village of Docking; a village that is proving to be an increasingly popular holiday destination, yet still remains charmingly peaceful. It has excellent local facilities, from a well-stocked Spar mini-supermarket, to a friendly pub a two minute walk away, an excellent fish 'n' chip shop, and a small roadside farmer's market selling local produce.
