Newgates Cottage is a charming mews style cottage located in Wells-Next-The-Sea, Norfolk, in the East of England. The cottage sleeps up to four people in two bedrooms and is situated near the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Bursting with character, this 17th-century cottage features original latch doors and exposed beams, offering a taste of the Norfolk coast right in the heart of the town. The ground floor includes an open-plan country style kitchen with a dining area and a shower room, while the first floor boasts a spacious sitting room, a king-size bedroom, and a family bathroom. On the top floor, there is a triple bedroom with a double and single bed.
Outside, there is a small sunny courtyard garden to enjoy, and guests can take a five-minute walk to the quay for crabbing or a further ten to fifteen minute walk to stunning Wells beach. The seaside town of Wells-Next-The-Sea offers something for everyone at any time of year, with shops, cafes, restaurants, and pubs just a minute's walk away from the cottage. The cottage is pet-friendly, allowing for up to two well-behaved dogs for a small additional charge. Parking is available roadside within the town, with a pull-in 'parking bay' for unloading and loading close to the cottage entrance. Additionally, a weekly permit for a Council car park can be obtained for £28.
The cottage is heated by Economy 7 storage heaters and features amenities such as a television with Freesat and DVD player. Guests can enjoy the convenience of being able to walk out the door and find everything they need nearby.
