The property is a great base for exploring the local area on foot or by bicycle, with Skenfrith Castle and the Monnow River just a few minutes' walk away. Monmouth, with its historic fortified bridge and amenities, is only 6 miles away. Walkers and ramblers will enjoy the Monnow Valley walks, the Three Castles Walk, Offa's Dyke path, and the Skirrid, which offers stunning views of the countryside and Brecon Beacons National Park. Abergavenny, 12 miles away, hosts various events throughout the year, including a food festival in September.
Malt House features a Georgian-style detached house with a living room, dining room, and well-equipped kitchen. The first floor boasts spacious bedrooms, some with en-suite facilities. Outside, there is an enclosed lawned garden, ideal for summer barbecues and allowing pets to roam freely. Guests can enjoy free WiFi, but electric vehicle charging is not permitted on the property. A winter fuel charge of £50 per week applies between 1st October to 31st March.
