The cottages retain many original features, with exposed beams, vestry gates, millstones, and iron wheels adding character to the properties. Each cottage has its own outside space, with one boasting a lake at the bottom of the garden, another with a landscaped courtyard, and a third with a large patio area. All the woodwork in the properties has been restored or replaced, with some oak grown on the farm for hundreds of years. The buildings date back to the 11th and 15th centuries, and efforts have been made to preserve their original charm.

Beech Cottage, Birch Cottage, Rowan Cottage, and Cedar Cottage each offer unique accommodations, with varying bedroom configurations and amenities. Birch, Beech, and Rowan cottages are all on one level with no stairs, making them easily accessible for all guests. The farm is located in Llangwm, a small rural village in Monmouthshire, just a short drive from Usk town with its restaurants and family pubs. Guests have full access to all 4 barns and the owners live on the farm, providing assistance as needed during the stay.
