Located in Boston, Lincolnshire in the East of England, Lily Pad Pod is a cozy glamping pod situated right on the edge of a lake. The communal wetroom and toilet are located 60 meters away from the pod, along with the parking area. Guests must carry their fishing gear and belongings from the carpark as vehicles are not allowed on the grass. Bedding is provided, but guests need to bring their own towels and toiletries. There is no sink or water in the pod, but a tap is available at the side of the communal wetroom. Lily Pad Pod is situated at the end of the lake.
Ladybird Pod is another glamping option on the lake, featuring a small veranda that leads to the edge of the lake for a peaceful retreat. Guests have access to a personal large jetty for fishing, as well as the option to fish from any of the swims around the lake. The site is exclusive for pod and cabin guests only, with strictly adults-only and no pets allowed policies. Guests can bring their own chairs and BBQs (away from the pods and grass), or use communal BBQs around the lake.
The fishing at the lake is excellent, with carp weighing up to 36lbs and other species present. Fishing rules include no dead rigs, tigernut bait, or keep nets, and guests must sanitize their landing net before arrival. Barbless hooks are required for fishing. In addition to fishing, guests can explore the area for water adventures and activities like birdwatching. Nearby attractions include the Bubblecar Museum, Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, Lincolnshire Wildlife Park, and Pilgrim Fathers Memorial, offering a range of cultural and recreational experiences.
