Ladybird Pod and Lily Pad Pod are two cozy Glamping Pods located on the edge of a lake in Boston, Lincolnshire. Ladybird Pod features a personal jetty for fishing and a small veranda for relaxing, while Lily Pad Pod offers ample space for fishing along the side of the lake. Both pods are strictly for adults only and do not allow pets. Guests are welcome to bring their own chairs and BBQs, or use communal BBQs provided around the lake.
The fishing at the lake is excellent, with carp weighing up to 36lbs and other species also present. Fishing rules include no dead rigs, no tigernut bait, and the use of barbless hooks. Guests are required to sanitize their landing nets before arrival and are not allowed to use keep nets. The pods are situated 60 meters away from the toilet and wetroom, as well as the car park, so guests must carry their belongings to the pods. Smoking is not allowed inside the pods, but is permitted outside using a glass or metal container.
The area surrounding the pods offers natural beauty at Witham Way Country Park and Havenside Country Park, as well as cultural attractions like the Bubblecar Museum and Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre. Guests can also visit Lincolnshire Wildlife Park and Pilgrim Fathers Memorial, and enjoy water activities such as fishing and birdwatching. The serene and peaceful surroundings of the lake provide a perfect setting for a relaxing getaway in the East of England.
