Located in Swadlincote, Nr Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire, Colliery Lane Lodges is a spacious and contemporary lodge that sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms. The lodge features a hot tub and has one master double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, as well as two twin rooms and an additional shower. The open plan kitchen/lounge area provides a comfortable space for guests to relax and unwind. Each lodge has slightly different décor, adding a unique touch to the accommodation.
Situated in the heart of England, overlooking a private lake, Colliery Lane Lodges offer a peaceful rural setting with easy access to the Peak District National Park. Nearby attractions include Conkers Indoor and Outdoor Centre, Drayton Manor Theme Park, and Alton Towers, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. Guests can enjoy peaceful walks, cycling, fishing, or simply relax in the outdoor hot tub while watching the sunset across the lake.
On-site amenities at Colliery Lane Lodges include a bar, seating area with a pool table and table tennis, a beer garden, a 5-a-side football pitch, and a fishing lake. Large group bookings and work parties are subject to a £250 security deposit upon arrival. Noise should be kept to a minimum after 10.30pm to avoid disruption. Guests are required to ring the intercom for entry upon arrival and may be asked for ID/proof of address for security purposes.
Extras such as travel cots, fishing equipment, gas bottles for the BBQ, and WiFi can be arranged and paid for directly through the park. The park is undergoing some building work between Monday and Friday from 8am to 5pm, but efforts are being made to minimize disruption to guests.
