Set around a picturesque lake in 43 acres of beautifully maintained grounds, the village is nestled between the dramatic landscape of the southern Lake District, the rolling Yorkshire Dales, and the coastline of Morecambe Bay. The park offers superb facilities, including a leisure complex with an indoor pool, steam room, gym, beauty treatments, and a restaurant and bar with an outdoor terrace. Wi-Fi is available, and there is also a launderette on-site. Charges apply for the use of the leisure complex, with different rates for adults and children. A security deposit of £100 is required upon arrival, which will be returned at the end of the holiday, subject to any damage or loss.

Please note that the restaurant at the park is currently undergoing refurbishment and will not be available until 25th March 2016. Highchairs and cots are available for a fee, and pets are welcome for an additional charge. Wi-Fi is available for a fee, and all facilities, except for the bar and restaurant, will be closed on 25th and 26th December and 1st January. Children aged 16 and under must be accompanied by a parent or carer in the swimming pool, and guests are advised to bring their own towels. The lodge is located on a river in Carnforth, with nearby attractions such as Gresgarth Hall Gardens, Lune Aqueduct, Lake District National Park, and Yorkshire Dales National Park. Activities such as fishing and swimming are available nearby, providing plenty of adventures in the water for guests to enjoy.
