Located in Ashford, Kent in the South of England, this unique accommodation consists of two open-plan shepherd's huts that can sleep up to 4 people. Situated near the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the huts offer stunning views and a peaceful setting surrounded by sheep, with the possibility of seeing adorable lambs in the Spring. Each hut is equipped with a living area featuring a wood-burning stove, a kitchen with essential appliances, a cozy sleeping area with a double bed, and a modern shower room.
Guests can enjoy the outdoors in the garden area, enclosed by a sheep-proof fence, which includes wooden chairs, a fire pit/BBQ, and private parking for two cars. The huts are heated by wood-burning stoves and electric radiators, and amenities such as towels, linen, bathrobes, and slippers are provided for a comfortable stay. For an additional cost, guests can request a locally sourced breakfast box with eggs, bacon, and sausages. Dogs are not allowed due to the presence of surrounding sheep, but guests can dine outside at the wooden table during warmer weather.
Check-in time is at 4pm and check-out is at 9am, and guests are advised to bring all-weather clothes and wellies for muddy fields. The cabin is in a rural area, close to local landmarks such as Dymchurch Martello Tower and Romney Hythe & Dymchurch Light Railway. Activities like visiting the Hythe Pool, Mercure Hythe Imperial Spa Naturel, Marsh Maize Maze, and Battlezone are also recommended for guests looking to explore the area and enjoy a unique countryside experience.
