The cottage features a bright living area, a modern kitchen, a mezzanine-level double bed (not suitable for those with mobility issues), and a double bed settee. Guests can enjoy the large private garden, off-road parking, and patio furniture with a BBQ.
The cottage is conveniently located with easy access to main roads and motorways, making it a great base for exploring the beautiful Kent countryside. Nearby footpaths lead into the Weald of Kent, while EuroTunnel and Ferry Ports are just a short drive away for day trips to France. Ashford station is also a 40-minute train journey to London, offering further exploration opportunities. Pets are welcome at Dolly Plum Cottage, and a welcome basket is provided upon arrival.
Guests should be aware that all energy and heating at the cottage are electric, with a fair usage policy in place to cover excessive use of heating and electric vehicle charging. Upon arrival and departure, a meter reading will be taken, and a £15 per day allowance is provided to cover most guests' needs. Any additional charges will need to be paid at departure or deducted from a deposit.
