The garden is fully fenced and enclosed, making it a perfect place to bring a dog, with lovely footpaths straight from the garden for walks. Just a few minutes' walk away is a popular country pub, while the villages of Elham and Barham, with their medieval buildings, shops, cafes, and a small vineyard, are just a couple of miles away.

The cottage features 1 bedroom, 1 shower room, a sitting room, and an open plan kitchen/dining room with a double bed. Luxuries include a TV with Bluray DVD player, central heating, and WiFi with good 4G coverage. The kitchen is equipped with a cooker, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, washer/dryer, and dishwasher. Outside, there is a large fenced garden with garden furniture, and parking is available for up to 1 car on the private road at the rear of the property, with additional parking within a three-minute walk.

Pets are allowed at the property, with 1 well-behaved dog accepted (no bigger than a labrador). The owners have 3 small dogs and guests are asked to bring their own bowls and bedding for their pet. Smoking is strictly forbidden at the property and in its grounds. The cottage is adults only, and guests may need to pay an Accidental Damage Deposit or Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver.
