The cottage is situated in an excellent walking area, with a coastal path leading to The Needles and other scenic routes to Yarmouth. The sandy bays nearby are perfect for swimming, boating, and fishing, while the town of Freshwater offers shops, pubs, restaurants, and a golf course with stunning coastal views.
The cottage itself has beautiful garden views, with most rooms facing south west for a light and sunny atmosphere. The kitchen is well-equipped with modern appliances, including an electric fan oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher. The open plan lounge/dining room features an open fire and ample seating, as well as a woodburner for more formal meals. Upstairs, there are three lovely bedrooms (two doubles and one twin) and a bathroom with a rain shower over the bath.
Outside, the cottage's south west facing garden provides a relaxing space with a large sunken garden and terrace with garden furniture for al fresco dining. Parking is available for up to four cars on a narrow driveway, with a turn around space at the top and a garage for storing small boats and bicycles. Please note that the cottage is not suitable for babies or children under 12 years old. Overall, this cottage offers a comfortable and homely base for exploring the beautiful Isle of Wight.
