The chalet features an open fire and is situated in a tranquil setting with no passing footfall or traffic, making it the perfect place to explore the quirky Victorian seaside town of Ventnor. The property boasts a decked garden with a brick BBQ overlooking the sea in Wheelers Bay, just a short walk away from the seafront and town. With central heating and underfloor heating in the bathroom, Seaglass is cosy and beautifully decorated in a coastal style, offering modern amenities and stunning sea views from the kitchen, diner, living room, and master bedroom.

The well-equipped kitchen includes a washing machine, microwave, fridge, gas hob, and electric oven, as well as gas central heating and a combi boiler for instant hot water. The chalet is in an extremely quiet location, allowing guests to enjoy the sounds of the sea and birdsong. However, please note that there are steps down from the road to reach the villa, making it unsuitable for those with mobility difficulties. Ventnor itself is a fantastic Victorian seaside town with a beautiful beach, excellent water quality for swimming, and a variety of pubs, bars, restaurants, and cafes to suit all budgets. The town offers stunning scenery, great for walking and exploring the island, with historical attractions such as Osborne House and Carisbrooke Castle nearby.

Ventnor is easily accessible by car or public transport, with a great bus service and good roads for driving. The area is also popular for cycling, both on and off-road, and offers amazing walking opportunities in the designated area of outstanding natural beauty. The town has a strong sense of community and a warm welcome for visitors, with independently owned cafes, shops, and restaurants giving it a unique feel. Ventnor's Mediterranean atmosphere, mild climate, and clean air made it a popular winter holiday destination for the Victorians, retaining much of its charm and Victorian architecture.
