Outside, there is an enclosed garden with garden furniture and a BBQ, as well as ample parking space. The farmhouse is surrounded by open countryside, offering picturesque views and country walks right from the doorstep.

Whitwell, the small village where the farmhouse is located, is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is a great base for walking and cycling. The village has a traditional family pub, The White Horse, which is popular with families. Nearby attractions include the village of Niton with country inns, shops, St. Catherine's Lighthouse, Niton "Undercliff" (an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), and Blackgang Chine Theme Park. Ventnor, a Victorian resort town with shops, cafes, pubs, and restaurants, is just a short drive away. Visitors can enjoy a stroll down to the seafront with its crescent-shaped sand and shingle beach, Ventnor Haven, and visit the popular family pub, ‘The Spyglass', which offers spectacular sea views.

The Southford Farm House is an ideal location for a relaxing holiday or for exploring all that the Isle of Wight has to offer. Dogs are permitted at an additional charge of GBP35.00 per dog per week, with a maximum of 2 dogs allowed. The cottage is situated in a rural area, with nearby attractions such as Ventnor Park, Pirates Cove in Shanklin, Blackgang Chine, and the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary. Visitors can also explore the Isle of Wight Owl and Falconry Centre and Butterfly Paragliding during their stay.
