Lochranza, located on the Isle of Arran in Scotland, is a tempting cottage that sleeps four people and is situated near the coast. The village is surrounded by the North Arran National Scenic Area, offering stunning views and plenty of outdoor activities. Wildlife enthusiasts will appreciate the opportunity to spot otters, seals, golden eagles, dolphins, porpoises, red deer, and red squirrels in the area. Lochranza is home to the Arran distillery, Stags restaurant, and Sandwich Station takeaway, as well as being a port for ferries to the Kintyre peninsula.

The cottage itself has been renovated to retain its period charm, with a kitchen/diner featuring a Rayburn stove, wood burner, electric hob, combi microwave oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. The dining area offers views of the bay and Lochranza castle, while the comfortable sitting room boasts an open fire and sofa bed for additional sleeping space. Upstairs, there are two spacious double bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower over the bath. A single put me up bed or cot can be added to either room upon request.

Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to Arran's nine golf courses, kayaking, paddleboarding, snorkelling, and gorge walking opportunities. Other island attractions include Brodick Castle and gardens, a marine discovery centre, a geology centre, and a heritage museum. The garden of the cottage slopes towards the sea and features a seating area with a waterfall, as well as a secluded side garden for relaxation. Lochranza is an ideal destination for those seeking a peaceful retreat surrounded by natural beauty and outdoor activities.
