The cottage features a large open plan living area that leads out onto the main lawn, creating a spacious and inviting atmosphere. With deep set windows and beautiful axe cut beams, West Dell exudes rustic charm and character.

As the largest family cottage on the Dell site, West Dell was the first building to occupy the area. Guests can enter the cottage through the garden, passing under the honeysuckle, and into the vintage-style kitchen and dining area with oak parquet flooring and whitewashed timber walls. The lounge area boasts a library with a secret doorway leading to the Lodge, providing a unique touch to the space. The cottage also includes a dual aspect double bedroom on the ground floor, with two additional bedrooms in the eaves accessible via a stairway.

Guests at West Dell have shared access to 3 acres of beautiful gardens and woodlands, offering a tranquil and picturesque setting. Situated on the edge of the Abernethy Forest, the area provides ample opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, and exploring nature trails. The woodland features amenities such as a zip line, kids den, hammocks, and a stone fire pit, adding to the overall experience of staying at the cottage.
