Additional amenities include a cloakroom, kitchen/diner, utility room, sitting room with a log burner, a snug, and a garage/games room. Outside, there is off-road parking for two cars and a rear garden spanning approximately 1/3 of an acre, complete with patio areas and furniture.

The cottage is equipped with oil central heating supplemented by solar panels for electricity, as well as a log burner. Other amenities include an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, and multiple TVs with DVD players. Bed linen, towels, and a starter pack for the log burner are included in the rent. While pets and smoking are not allowed, the property is conveniently located near a shop, pub, and cafe. The recreational ground below the cottage is described as very rough, requiring caution.
