The cottage is nestled between the Red Cuillin hills and the majestic Bla Bhienn mountain, offering a peaceful and homely retreat for guests. The cottage has been in the family for over 150 years and underwent a full upgrade in 2017, making it comfortable and welcoming.

The ground floor of the cottage features a cosy living room with a log/coal burning stove, a well-equipped kitchen, a dining room that seats six, a spacious twin bedroom, a toilet with wash basin, and a sun porch overlooking the garden. Upstairs, there is a master bedroom with a kingsize bed, a twin bedroom, and a bathroom with an electric shower, WC, and wash basin. The cottage is double glazed throughout and has an electric heating system and log/coal burning stove.

The cottage is located in the village of Torrin, seven miles from Broadford, which offers a variety of shops, restaurants, cafes, and other amenities. The area is perfect for exploring, relaxing, walking, climbing, cycling, photography, and geology, with nearby attractions such as Camas Croise and Traigh a' Chnuic. Guests can enjoy fishing, mountain biking, mountain climbing, and cycling in the surrounding area, as well as stunning views of the Loch Slapin and the Blue Mountain of Bla Bhienn. With free parking for two cars and a large cultivated garden, this cottage provides a peaceful and comfortable retreat for visitors to the Isle of Skye.
