Located in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, this quiet Osprey Village is just five minutes from Aviemore by steam train or cycle path. Guests can enjoy activities such as playing golf on the James Braid 18-hole course, fishing in the river Spey, bird watching, walking in tranquil woods, climbing dramatic hillsides, and skiing in the area.

The lodge is situated in a peaceful part of the park on the outer perimeter, making it an ideal retreat for those looking to explore the beautiful surroundings. The accommodation includes one bedroom with a double bed, another bedroom with two single beds, and a sofa bed in the living area. Pets are allowed, and there is a large living area with a decked area offering magnificent mountain views. Amenities include a new TV with free view, DVD player, toaster, microwave, kettle, cutlery, crockery, and pans. Linen is provided, but guests are asked to bring their own towels.

The lodge features central heating throughout with an additional electric heater, and all gas and electricity costs are included in the rental price. There is a well-stocked, reasonably priced shop and cafe at the park entrance, as well as a laundry facility on-site. Guests must stay a minimum of three nights, with check-in after 16:00 and check-out before 10:00.
