Scenes from the Harry Potter films were shot nearby, and the Glenfinnan Monument marks an important historical site. Basic but comfortable, the accommodation includes a double bedroom, a room with bunk beds, and a bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Guests can enjoy outdoor activities such as rock climbing in Glencoe, skiing at Nevis Range, and fishing trips from Fort William. A boat is available for trout fishing or exploring the loch, with petrol charged as used. The nearby Glenfinnan House Hotel and convenience store offer dining options and essentials. Fort William, a 25-minute drive away, serves as a hub for amenities and the starting point for the steam train to Mallaig, crossing the iconic Harry Potter viaduct.

The chalet features electric storage heaters, an electric feature fire, and basic kitchen amenities. Bed linen and towels are provided, and a washing machine is available upon request.
