With easy access to transportation, guests can reach Kings Cross London in 35 minutes by train, York in 3 hours, Cambridge in 45 minutes by car, and Oxford in 1 hour and 20 minutes. The property also provides easy access to major roads such as the A1, M1, and M25.

The lodge features a large open plan lounge/kitchen/dining room with a sofa bed, a spacious upstairs bedroom with a washing area, a bathroom with a bath and shower, and a large garden. Guests can enjoy a games room with table tennis, pool, and bar football upon request. The property is surrounded by beautiful grounds in the heart of the Hertfordshire countryside, with many nearby pubs, restaurants, and places of interest for all ages. The lodge is furnished with hotel-grade bed linen, and guests have exclusive use of all areas except for the boiler room, which is used for storage.

Pets are allowed at the property at the discretion of the owner, with additional charges for dogs. The lodge can also be booked together with the Game Keeper's Cottage, which sleeps 8 and can accommodate 10 guests by converting the dining room and lounge into additional bedrooms. Nearby pubs include The White Horse at Burnham Green, the Plume of Feathers, and the Horns in Datchworth. For those interested in historic buildings, the Horns pub was built around 1543 during the reign of King Henry VIII. Additionally, the vacation home is located in a rural area near Chadwell Springs Golf Course and Aldwickbury Park Golf Club, with opportunities for outdoor activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
