The cottage is situated just outside the village of Woolhope and features a family room with a double and single bed, a double room, and a twin room. There is a bathroom, ground floor cloakroom, open plan living area with kitchen, dining area, and sitting area, as well as a separate utility room. Outside, there is ample off-road parking, a hot tub, lawned garden with patio and barbecue, making it a family-friendly and peaceful retreat.
The amenities at Owl Barn include oil central heating, electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, Wi-Fi, DVD player, and a selection of books, games, and DVDs. Fuel and power are included in the rent, along with bed linen and towels. A travel cot, stairgate, and highchair are available on request. One well-behaved dog is welcome, and smoking is not allowed. The village of Woolhope offers two traditional pubs serving local food and real ale, and is close to the Wye Valley Walk, The Herefordshire Trail, and Three Choirs Way. Nearby Haugh Woods provide 850 acres of ancient forest with rare species of moth and butterfly, as well as lovely walking trails.
