The Carthouse is a charming all ground floor cottage located just outside the village of Woolhope in Herefordshire, in the heart of England. This cozy cottage sleeps three people in one family bedroom with a double and a single bed, making it ideal for a small family or a couple. The cottage features an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area, and a sitting area with a double sofa bed, as well as a bathroom. Outside, there is ample off-road parking and an enclosed courtyard garden with furniture and a charcoal barbecue, perfect for enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

The amenities at The Carthouse include oil central heating, an electric oven and hob, microwave, washing machine, fridge/freezer, TV with Freeview, DVD player, and a selection of books, games, and DVDs. Fuel and power are included in the rent, as well as bed linen and towels. A travel cot and highchair are available on request, and one well-behaved dog is welcome. The cottage is non-smoking and is located near a fenced pond in the grounds. The village of Woolhope offers two traditional village pubs serving excellent local food and real ale, and is close to the Wye Valley Walk, Herefordshire Trail, and Three Choirs Way, as well as Haugh Woods with its ancient forest and rare species of moth and butterfly.
