The farmhouse is only open to the public one week a year, so you’ll have this historic gem to yourself. There’s a large lawned garden to the rear of the property and wild-flower fields in the adjoining meadow. As the house is set deep in the countryside, you’ll have miles of walks and on your doorstep.  

The village of Kington is a short five mile drive away, while Hay-On-Wye is only 8 miles away from the holiday cottage. Famous for its literature festival, the town is home to many bookshops. It also sits on the outskirts of the Brecon Beacons, so it’s a good place to stop before hiking through the mountains.
