April Cottage is a charming and historic family-friendly cottage located in Hordle, Hampshire, in the south of England. The cottage sleeps 8 people in 4 luxury bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom and smart TV. Guests can enjoy a seasonal heated pool (open May to September), a peaceful sunny garden with sun loungers, BBQ area, and two outside dining areas.
The cottage, which is over 300 years old and Grade II listed, features a sunny entrance hall, a sitting room with exposed timber beams, a farmhouse-style kitchen/dining room with handmade oak units and a Rayburn range, and a separate utility room that also serves as a space for pet beds. The ground floor bedroom has french doors leading to the garden courtyard and an en-suite shower room. Upstairs, there are three more bedrooms, two with en-suite shower rooms and one with an en-suite bathroom, all with modern fittings and underfloor heating.
Outside, guests can relax in the garden, courtyard, or on the deck, and enjoy the seasonal swimming pool. The cottage is conveniently located near a quiet pub and village store with a filling station. Nearby attractions include Highcliffe Castle, Palace House, New Forest National Park, and Isle of Wight Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
