Located in Yelverton, Hampshire, Combestone Farm is a secluded rural retreat in the Dartmoor National Park. Surrounded by rivers, the farm offers access to 180 acres of moorland, fields, ancient woodland, and the River Dart. The cottage features an open fire, wood burner, and AGA for cooking, along with three bedrooms and a bathroom. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, and there is grazing available for horses.

Guests can enjoy private access to the River Dart for swimming and picnicking, as well as fly-fishing for Salmon and Trout (season and licenses permitting). Nearby Holne village offers a pub, shop, and tearoom, while Dartmeet and Hexworthy provide additional dining options. The River Dart Country Park and surrounding towns offer a range of activities and amenities.

Combestone Farm is off the national electricity grid, relying on solar panels, a hydro-electric generator, and a diesel generator for power. Limited electrical supplies and no mobile phone signal are available, requiring guests to be resourceful. The farm track is rough, and the farmhouse is not suitable for very young children due to steep stairs and rugged terrain.

The farm and nearby Combestone Tor were featured in the film "War Horse," showcasing the beauty of Dartmoor. The area offers opportunities for hiking, riding, fishing, and outdoor pursuits.
