The Lodge in Morfa Nefyn, Gwynedd, Wales, is a luxurious former pump house renovated in 2014 and extended in 2019 to offer modern accommodation for up to 9 guests. The cottage features a large open plan kitchen, dining area, and lounge, along with four double bedrooms, two of which have en suite bathrooms. Outside, guests can enjoy a beautiful garden, stone patio with palm trees, and a decked area with a hot tub for year-round use. The kitchen is fully equipped with high-end appliances such as a dishwasher, microwave, washer dryer, and espresso coffee machine.
Situated on a quiet country lane near Morfa Nefyn village center, the cottage is only 800m from the coastal path leading to two stunning beaches. It is also close to the renowned 27-hole Nefyn & District golf course with breathtaking sea views from every hole. The seaside town of Pwllheli is 6 miles away, while Abersoch offers a variety of shops, bars, restaurants, and sailing schools. Guests can take a scenic walk along the coastal path to the Ty Coch Pub at the far end of the beach, or explore the natural beauty of the Llŷn and Lleyn Peninsula.
Important to note is that the new upstairs bedroom added in 2019 has restricted headroom. The location of the cottage in Pwllheli provides easy access to both the mountains and the beach, with local landmarks such as Plas Glyn y Weddw and Plas-yn-Rhiw nearby. Water activities like sailing and fishing, as well as outdoor adventures like cycling and mountain biking, are popular in the area. Changeover days for bookings are Fridays and Mondays, with options for long weekends, midweek breaks, or full weeks starting on either Mondays or Fridays. Shorter breaks or different changeover days may be considered upon inquiry.
