The park provides opportunities for walks, orienteering, mountain biking, and golf, with pubs, cafes, restaurants, and a sandy beach nearby.

Guests at Barmouth Bay can enjoy a range of facilities including an indoor heated swimming pool, children's adventure playground, outdoor cinema (available during the summer), park-wide Wi-Fi access, a multi-use sports court, children's play area, direct beach access, and a launderette. The indoor swimming pool is open daily from March to November and weekends in November to December, while the outdoor cinema is open on select dates during the summer months. Certain facilities may require pre-booking to avoid disappointment.

Due to essential maintenance work, the swimming pool will not be available during stays at the park. However, a welcome pack with key information and a cleaning pack will be provided. The location in Tal-Y-Bont offers easy access to the beach, Eryri National Park, Morfa Dyffryn, and attractions such as Hufenfa'r Castell and Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways. Guests can also enjoy activities like cycling and swimming in the surrounding area. Arrivals after 5 pm are not accepted, and babies should be included in the total party count.
