Outside, there is an enclosed decked area with outdoor sofas and off-road parking in the shared car park. Please note that the property is not suitable for those less able due to the steep grass bank and stone steps leading to the decking, which can be slippery when wet.

Amenities at The Look Out include electric heating, an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge, iron, ironing board, flat screen TV with Freeview and DVD player. Bed linen and towels are provided, and fuel and power are included in the rent. The property does not allow smoking or pets. While there is no wifi available at the lodge or Bwlch Gwyn Chalet Park, there is good 4G reception in the area.
