Located in southern Snowdonia, this welcoming cottage in Machynlleth, Wales sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms and is pet-friendly with an open fire. The cottage has been thoughtfully renovated from two former quarry-man cottages in the village of Corris Uchaf, offering a central location between sandy beaches and Snowdonia peaks. The village itself has plenty of amenities and attractions, including a cafe, village shop, underground tours, and craft center.
The cottage features a fully-equipped kitchen with a Range cooker, fridge freezer, and central island unit, as well as a utility room with a dishwasher and washer dryer. Entertainment options include a TV, Blu Ray Player, books, games, DVDs, and maps, with WiFi also available. For families, a travel cot, high chair, and stair gate are available on request, with stair gates permanently fixed in position at the cottage.
Outside, there is a fully enclosed rear garden with an elevated decking area offering views over the hills to Cadair Idris. A charcoal BBQ set is provided, and there are 3 parking spaces across the road. Bed linen, towels, heating, electricity, and a starter pack of logs are included, along with a welcome pack of Welsh tea, coffee, sugar, milk, biscuits, and a bottle of wine. One pet is welcome on the ground floor only, and smoking is not allowed at the property.
