Located in Porthmadog, Gwynedd, Wales, Cwm Mawr is a charming 400-year-old farmhouse situated on a working hill farm in the Snowdonia National Park. This traditional cottage offers stunning views over Cardigan Bay and is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. The cottage features a cozy inglenook fireplace with an open log fire, exposed beams, and a Rayburn range, providing comfortable accommodation for up to six people, including pets.

The cottage has three bedrooms - one king, one double, and one super-king/two singles - and offers a range of amenities including a lounge, snug, sunroom, kitchen, and utility room. The kitchen is well-equipped with a Rayburn range, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. Entertainment options include a TV in the lounge and Wi-Fi is available. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with a patio and picnic table, offering fantastic views over the surrounding farmland.

Guests can explore the local area, with a good pub in Bryncir and more dining and shopping options in Tremadog and Porthmadog. Nearby attractions include Welsh castles, beautiful beaches, Zip World, and the Welsh Highland Railway. The cottage includes central heating, electricity, and logs from October to April, as well as bed linen, towels, and a hairdryer. One dog is welcome for an additional charge, and smoking is not allowed inside the property.

Parking is available for up to five cars, and guests may need to pay an Accidental Damage Deposit or Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver. The vacation home is located in Garndolbenmaen, with nearby attractions such as Aberglaslyn Pass, Gelert's Grave, Eryri National Park, and Llŷn. Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways and Hufenfa'r Castell are also worth visiting, making Cwm Mawr an ideal base for exploring the beauty of North Wales.
