The Honey Pot is a pleasing holiday cottage located in Garndolbenmaen, Gwynedd, Wales, within the stunning Lleyn Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Situated on the grounds of Tyddyn Mawr House, the cottage offers a peaceful retreat with 14 acres of land to explore, including well-maintained gardens and a summer house stocked with books and DVDs. The open-plan living space is bright and airy, with French doors leading to a private courtyard, a dining area, comfortable seating, and modern amenities such as a TV, DVD player, and electric fire.
The well-equipped kitchen features a dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, and a Dulce Gusto coffee machine. The cottage has two bedrooms, including a double room with ensuite bathroom and direct access to the courtyard, and a twin room with ensuite wet room. The shared grounds offer mature gardens, a lake for fishing or wild swimming (catch and release policy), farmed fields, and a private paved seating area.
The Honey Pot is a detached stone bungalow with a clean country style and plenty of charm. Guests can enjoy a relaxing holiday without leaving the grounds, or venture out to explore the private lake, historic town of Criccieth, beaches, shops, and heritage railway of Porthmadog, and the Snowdonia National Park. For larger groups, The Little Coach House and The Garden Cottage are also available on the grounds. Visitors should be aware that there are livestock in the fields, so dogs must be kept on leads in specific areas.
