Located in Gaerwen, Gwynedd, Wales, Raven is a charming stone-built cottage at Glan Morfa lodge, which was awarded the 'Best Self-Catering Establishment of the Year' at the 2011 Anglesey Tourism Awards. Surrounded by the stunning Anglesey Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the cottage offers magnificent views of the tidal estuary at Malltraeth. Set in 37 acres of land with two lakes, well-marked walks, and abundant wildlife, Raven provides easy access to fantastic beaches at Llanddwyn, Aberffraw, and Cable Bay, as well as the Anglesey Coastal footpath and Snowdonia National Park.

The cottage sleeps four people in a double and twin bedroom, with a spacious shower room featuring a slate tiled floor, heated towel rail, and shaver point. The open-plan living/dining room boasts comfortable seating, a flat-screen TV, DVD player, and dining table, while the well-equipped kitchen includes an electric cooker, hob, microwave, and fridge with freezer compartment. Raven is environmentally friendly, with hot water supplied by solar energy and waste water managed through a reed bed system, allowing guests to enjoy a sustainable holiday experience. Additionally, the National Cycle Route is conveniently located at the top of the drive for guests arriving by bike.

The cottage features exposed ceiling beams and wooden floors throughout, with bed linen and towels provided for guests' convenience. Other amenities include access to a communal laundry room, a travel cot and highchair available upon request, solar-powered central heating, and internet access in the main reception area. Raven has been recognized with a Dark Sky Discoveries award for stargazing and astronomy, and pets are welcome for a small fee. Ample parking is available on-site, and nearby attractions such as Penrhyn Golf Club, Storws Wen Golf Club, Anglesey Model Village & Gardens, and Plas Cadnant Hidden Gardens offer plenty of activities for guests to enjoy during their stay.
