The cottage features two double bedrooms with en-suites, a further double bedroom, a triple room with bunks, and a single room. In addition to the bedrooms, there is a family bathroom and a cloakroom. The property also includes a kitchen with a breakfast table, a dining room, a sitting room with a woodburning stove, a conservatory, and a snug. Outside, there is ample off-road parking, 10 acres of grounds and woodland, and a private outdoor swimming pool with patio furniture.

The cottage is equipped with amenities such as oil central heating, a range cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV, DVD player, WiFi, and a selection of books and games. Fuel, power, and a starter pack are included in the rent, as well as bed linen and towels. One highchair and travel cot are available upon request. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome at the property. Guests should note that there are steps throughout the ground floor, a private swimming pool (unavailable mid-October to Easter) that children must be accompanied at all times, and an unfenced waterfall on the property.

Fairbourne, where the cottage is located, is a coastal village in the Snowdonia National Park, situated between the Cambrian Mountains and Barmouth Bay. The village offers a sandy beach with water sports and a golf club. Barmouth, with its pubs, restaurants, and beach, is a short distance away and can be reached by train or by walking over the Railway Bridge with views of Mawddach Estuary. The area is ideal for outdoor pursuits and exploring nearby towns with plenty to see and do.
