The cottage features impressive structural beams in the master bedroom, although guests should take care as they are low overhead. For families with young children, a high chair, travel cot (linen not provided), stair gates, and stair barriers can be provided upon request. Guests can also bring up to two small, well-behaved dogs for a small additional charge.

It is worth noting that during one week in October and one week in May each year, many amenities and pubs in Stow-on-the-Wold close due to the Gypsy Horse Fair.
