This semi-detached Cotswold stone cottage is the quintessential country escape, nestled up against the village green in peaceful Longborough. With beautiful period features including exposed beams, latch doors and an open fire, it presents an inviting atmosphere that makes for a really memorable holiday. It sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms, each of which has an LCD TV.

On the ground floor of the cottage, you'll find a cosy sitting room with a countryside ambience enhanced by its open log fire and flatstone floor. More modern conveniences include an LCD TV and DVD player, a CD player and radio, and a speaker dock for iPod or iPhone. For preparing delicious meals, the kitchen is well equipped with an electric hob and oven, a microwave, and a fridge-freezer, as well as the additional conveniences of a dishwasher and washer/dryer. There's also a cloakroom with a WC.

On the first floor is a double bedroom where a zip and link bed gives the opportunity to convert to a twin room (two single beds) if preferred. This bedroom has an en-suite shower room. Also on this floor you'll find a twin bedroom and a small bathroom with shower over bath. The second floor holds the third bedroom, a large double with a king-size bed.

Outside the cottage is an enclosed garden with a convenient paved area down some steps, as well as outdoor furniture and a barbecue for your use. If desired, fresh meat can be delivered to the cottage from the nearby Todenham Manor Farm.

The village of Longborough has a traditional pub and a handy shop. It also boasts fantastic views of the gorgeous Evenlode Valley, and there are countless walking trails through the unspoilt surroundings of the Cotswolds. It's ideally located between the towns of Moreton-in-Marsh and Stow-on-the-Wold, too, so it's located in a perfect spot for exploring the Cotswolds while still feeling secluded and away-from-it-all.
