Based within the grounds of a 16th century rectory, the Coach House is a 14th century property that makes a charming and comfortable holiday destination for 5 guests, with spectacular countryside views that make an amazing way to get away from it all. It's based in the village of Hawling, a traditional settlement that sits at the highest point of the Cotswolds. You're also just a short car trip away from Guiting Power, another gorgeous village offering two traditional pubs, a village shop and a bakery.
The ground floor of the Coach House begins with a handy entrance hall with a small cloakroom, WC, and separate shower room. You can then head into the open-plan dining kitchen, well outfitted with an electric oven, hob, grill, microwave and fridge-freezer, in addition to a dishwasher and washer/dryer. A couple of steps upwards takes you into the sitting room, where a TV, DVD player and CD player provide the entertainment while an open fireplace offers rustic ambience. There's also a single bedroom on this floor which doubles as a study or office.
Head up to the first floor and you'll find a double bedroom complete with king-size 5' bed, a twin bedroom with two single 3' beds, and a bathroom with a bath with shower over.
The Coach House has an excellent outdoor area with a terrace which leads out to an open lawn, complete with garden furniture. This offers some beautiful views over the surrounding fields.
