Upon entering Grange Cottage, guests are welcomed into a lovely garden room featuring a large bay window that provides stunning views across the valley, including the award-winning Woodchester Valley Vineyard. The interior is designed for relaxation, with a cosy sitting room that boasts exposed beams, a charismatic window seat, and a Cotswold stone fireplace complete with a wood-burning stove, perfect for cooler evenings. Adjacent to the sitting room is a snug area filled with natural light, where guests can enjoy board games or simply unwind. French doors from the snug lead out to the garden, enhancing the indoor-outdoor flow of the space.

The cottage features a farmhouse-style dining kitchen, accessible via a few steps from the sitting room, equipped with an electric range oven, gas hob, and various appliances, along with a dining table for family meals. A utility room adds convenience with a freezer, washer/dryer, and a ground floor WC. The first floor houses a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed and woodland views, a family bathroom, a small double bedroom, and a day room with a single bed, all featuring window seats to enjoy the scenery. The second floor offers a third bedroom accessed by steep spiral stairs, featuring high ceilings, exposed beams, and a double bed, along with splendid views.

Outside, the cottage boasts a spacious garden filled with mature shrubs and trees, a well-maintained lawn, and a terrace complete with garden furniture, ideal for summer barbecues or enjoying a morning coffee while soaking in the sunset. The village of Amberley is situated on the National Trust common land of Minchinhampton Common and is home to two well-regarded traditional pubs, The Black Horse Inn and The Amberley Inn, both serving quality ales.
