The cottage is set on the owners' 35 acres of rolling pastureland and has been built using locally sourced materials, such as stone, Cedar, and Welsh slates.
The interior of the cottage is elegantly decorated with neutral shades and pops of color, offering a sense of calm and spaciousness. The open-plan living space includes a lounge, kitchen, and dining area with floor-to-ceiling glass bi-fold doors that provide breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. The kitchen is well-equipped with modern appliances, including an electric range cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. The cottage also features underfloor heating, a wood burner, Smart TVs in the bedrooms, and a family bathroom with a roll-top bath.
Outside, guests can enjoy a large wraparound terrace with garden furniture, a hot tub, and a Komodo BBQ for al fresco dining. The lawned garden provides ample space for children to play, and there is parking for up to three cars. The owners live nearby and will meet guests on arrival, ensuring a comfortable stay. The cottage has been built to high sustainability standards, exceeding current building regulations for insulation.
Guests can book the cottage with a neighboring property for additional bedrooms if needed. House rules include no smoking, no parties, and keeping noise to a minimum. One well-behaved dog is allowed with prior arrangement and an additional fee. Check-in is from 16:00 to 18:00, and check-out is by 10:00. A refundable Accidental Damage Deposit is required, and bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit. In case of new Government travel restrictions affecting bookings, a full refund will be provided.
