Located in Brecon, Glamorgan, Wales, this two-bedroom log cabin offers a unique blend of outdoor living with indoor comforts. Nestled in the hills just north of the Brecon Beacons national park, guests can enjoy stunning views from the spacious elevated decking or from within the fully insulated and centrally heated cabin. The open-plan kitchen and lounge area feature double doors leading out to the decking, while the cabin also includes a double bedroom, a second bedroom with bunk beds, and a shower room. The property is fully centrally heated from the farm's biomass heating system.
Situated in the main farm complex above the black barn and horse riding arena, guests have their own access and can come and go as they please. The farm owner, Hugh, lives in the main farm house opposite the cottage and is available most of the time to assist with any queries or help needed. Access to the farm is along an unsurfaced track that may become challenging after heavy rain, but with care, most vehicles can navigate it successfully. Guests are welcome to use the on-site laundry and storage facilities in the main barn.
The farm is home to a variety of animals, including horses, chickens, cows, ducks, a cat, and two dogs, adding to the rural charm of the location. Nearby attractions include Ely Tower, Llandovery Castle, and outdoor activities such as cycling, hiking, and horse riding. With its picturesque setting and cozy accommodations, this cabin provides a peaceful retreat for up to four guests, with the option to bring along pets for a truly immersive countryside experience.
