Located in the beautiful region of Shrewsbury, Glamorgan in Wales, this charming cottage sleeps up to 4 people in 2 bedrooms. Originally a coach house for the Hanley farm, it was converted into a holiday home in 2003 and has recently been refurbished to a high standard. Situated just 3 miles southwest of the medieval town of Shrewsbury, the cottage is in a rural position on the edge of the small village of Hook-A-Gate, which includes a local pub, The New Inn. The property offers easy access to major road networks and the surrounding countryside with numerous public footpaths, making it an ideal base for exploring the South Shropshire hills, Ironbridge, and Wales.

The downstairs of the cottage features a beamed living room with French windows opening onto a private patio, a well-equipped kitchen/dining room, and a separate WC. Upstairs, there is a double bedroom with an en-suite shower/WC, a beamed twin bedroom with a washbasin, and a shower room/WC. Outside, guests can enjoy a private patio with table and chairs, use of the back lawn and summer house, and ample private parking for 2 cars. In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, the property has implemented strict cleaning and sanitization practices based on UK Government guidelines. The health, safety, and security of guests are the highest priority, and the cottage is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between changeovers. The Old Coach House is part of The Hanley Cottages, which also includes The Corn House, both of which are converted farm buildings located approximately 40 yards apart. The cottages are detached and each has adjacent parking, ensuring compliance with self-isolation conditions. Guests can enjoy quick and easy access to main trunk roads and Shropshire's areas of outstanding natural beauty, making it an ideal retreat for those seeking a peaceful and relaxing getaway in the Welsh countryside.
