The property also features a rustic wood-fired sauna, shared with the sister property, Hillside Barn. As an off-grid accommodation, Hillside Barn is ideal for guests interested in reducing their environmental footprint by using resources sparingly. The water is sourced from a spring, power from wind and sun, heat from logs, and Wi-Fi is available via unlimited 4G. In case of challenges with eco equilibrium, there is a diesel generator and gas-fired radiators for support. However, guests with mobility issues or very small children may find the property less suitable due to the external access to the only WC located downstairs.
