Originally built around 1896 by the Forgan family, who were prominent golf club manufacturers in the area, the cottage was modernized in 2012 and underwent a major refurbishment in 2022.

The cottage features a bright living/dining area that overlooks the back garden, with access to the path along the Kinness Burn through the rear garden gate. All bedrooms are equipped with super king-size beds that can be converted into twin beds. The basement has been fully modernized with new units and flooring, including a new washing machine, tumble dryer, additional integrated fridge and freezer, wine chiller fridge, and a specially designed space for pets. There is also ample storage space for bikes and golf clubs.

In addition to its modern amenities, Forgan Cottage is ideally located near the coast, making it a great base for exploring the surrounding area.
