The site is secure and private, surrounded by fencing, and visitors are welcome to fish the lake, which is stocked with hand-selected mirrors and commons up to 25lb.

Horse owners have the option to bring their horse along for an additional fee, with a dedicated paddock and private 5k cross-country track available for their use. Access to the site is through the main yard, which also houses equestrian facilities and commercial premises, including The Firepit Company. The lake site is secluded from the main farm, with only three shepherd's huts on the property, providing a peaceful and private retreat for visitors. The site is located in Castle Camps, a short drive from Haverhill and 25 minutes from Cambridge City Centre.
